The objective of the ClicksControl redesign was to enhance the user experience for a platform that provides data analytics for ad campaigns across Google, Facebook, and native ads. The goal was to modernize the platform’s interface, improve usability, and introduce responsive design to enable mobile access, all while retaining its robust reporting and analytics capabilities.
The previous design suffered from information overload, which caused user confusion and impacted productivity. Furthermore, the platform lacked mobile responsiveness, making it difficult for users to access and analyse ad campaign data on the go.
User research revealed that marketers and campaign managers highly valued the platform’s performance overviews, detailed reports, and data visualisation tools like graphs and charts. However, the outdated design and limited mobile functionality negatively impacted user efficiency, particularly when trying to view or manage campaigns remotely.
The user-centric redesign retained the platform’s extensive reporting capabilities while making the interface more intuitive and mobile-friendly. As a result, user adoption increased by 34% within the first month, and the outdated platform was retired after a year. The new design significantly improved user productivity and accessibility, particularly for users managing ad campaigns across multiple platforms.
The ClicksControl redesign demonstrates the impact of user-focused design on a data analytics platform for ad campaigns. By simplifying the interface and introducing mobile responsiveness, the platform became more accessible and user-friendly, driving higher engagement and improving the overall user experience for marketers managing Google, Facebook, and native ad campaigns.
